I moved to Victoria as a young adult, and spent the next 7 years creating a new life.
Amidst the pain of trying to find my identity, it was here that I was introduced to the Victorian bush. Spending my summers sleeping by the seas of Wilsons Promontory, or the winters walking amongst the forests of the Dandenong Ranges, I found a sense of belonging and acceptance in these natural spaces.
As I explored myself and this new world, I created photographs of personal experiences, grand vistas, and intimate scenes. I did not keep this gallery to present the highest standard of my artistic endeavors. Rather, I keep it as reminder of the birth of an artist whose values were grounded in wonder, awe, and curiosity.
